Most Pokémon ex in Pokémon TCG Pocket have been defined by a single variable: how much a lucky Misty can help them quickly end the game. Suicune ex arrives after a long Water drought with a different kind of value.
Its first strength is Crystal Waltz, an attack that costs only and deals 20 damage for each Benched Pokémon in play. Building around Suicune ex, you can easily guarantee at least 60 damage, and anything higher is an excellent rate for just 2 Energy on a Basic Pokémon.
Its second strength is the Legendary Dog ability, Legendary Pulse, which draws you a card at the end of each turn Suicune ex remains in the Active Spot. A free draw engine is always valuable, and Water has enough power cards to make this especially threatening: think Greninja + Rare Candy, Misty, and more.
