Event Stamina, Event Hourglasses… How do Drop Events work?

Drop events are special events where you can earn exclusive promo cards by completing Solo Battles. To compete, you must have Event Stamina. Winning these battles can reward you with a Promo Booster Pack and many other items (Hourglass, Tickets...). The harder the difficulty, the higher the chance of obtaining a pack (it’s guaranteed on Expert difficulty).

Each Promo Booster Pack includes one of five possible cards. Some are reprints of existing cards with alternate artworks, others are event-exclusive cards available only for a limited time.

Battle Difficulties and Rewards

There are four difficulty levels in Solo Battles: Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced, and Expert. Each difficulty offers three types of rewards:

1. First-Time Rewards: Earned only the first time you win a battle. Winning also unlocks the next difficulty level.
2. Battle Tasks: Optional challenges during the battle.
   Completing these tasks grants additional one-time rewards.
3. Drop Rewards: Received each time you win a battle.
   These can include Promo Booster Packs.

Event Stamina

To participate in event battles, you need Event Stamina. Here's how it works:

• At the start of a drop event, you begin with 5 Event Stamina (the maximum). Each stamina point regenerates automatically over 12 hours.
• Event Stamina is only consumed when you win a battle. If you lose, you can retry without any penalty.
• To speed up recovery, you can use:
  • 1 Event Hourglass
    
    (recovers 1 Event Stamina).
  • 1 Poké Gold
    
    (recovers 1 Event Stamina).

How to obtain Event Hourglasses?

Event Hourglasses are only available as first-time rewards for Beginner and Intermediate challenges in Solo Battles.

Do Event Hourglasses Carry Over?

Yes! Event Hourglasses stay in your inventory and can be used in future events. They don’t expire when the current drop event ends.
